Leading lines

Both of these images have natural leading lines that bring your focus to the main point of the picture. in the first picture the stairs not only have a lot of leading lines, but the trees and plants on the side, all going the same direction focusing your attention to the same spot. In the second picture the roof of the buildings have leading lines, and so do the sides of the houses, and windows, bringing your attention to the smaller house.

Rule of Thirds

Both of these images demonstrate the Rule of Thirds because both focus points in each image are directed towards the side of the picture, not middle. The people in the first image are both on the right side of the image, and the focus of the sunset is in the middle. I thought this picture turned out good because the shadows of the people on the side highlight the focus of the sunset. Also, in the second picture the focus point is also on the right side of the image. I also think this picture turned out good because of the rule of thirds. Because the focus point is running and on the right side of the image it shows the direction of where the focus point is running better then if it were in the middle.

point of View

I chose my dog to take different pictures with because we only see dogs or any animals from one view, and they always see us from one view, too. It would be a lot different if we viewed our pets at their eye level and if they viewed us at ours, which is why I chose to photograph my dog. I like the images I kept because they all have good light and really show what it would be like if we viewed our pets as they view us.
